| I'm a San Francisco-based photographer focused primarily on editorial and assignment work: portraits, destinations & locations, still life and lifestyle. In my personal work I am pursuing my interests in both fine art and documentary styles & subjects. My passion for photography arose from a profound love for the natural world and its inhabitants, a keen eye for detail, and an intimate, almost literary approach to visual storytelling. Although I started shooting as a young teen, I'm a (mostly) self-taught photographer with a Master's Degree (almost PhD!) in French & French literature, and have experienced both the challenges and immense pleasures of living abroad, in Paris*, where a little piece of my heart still resides...
